Pavel, not just Pinuses but anything you touch looks great. Love the trunk taper and Autumn colours

Hi Pavel
I could be interesting to see how the scars progress, as soon as the last leaves have fallen, on your very nice tree.
Kind regards Yvonne

Re: Acer campestre (2007)
a lot of campeste lately but this is an 'old' thread... you updated it to annoy me i'm sure !!!!
just kidding, because the campestre is one of my favorite native trees, i hope to get some more raw material this fall/winter/spring.
Good transformation, and what a joy it is that the campestre is such a strong grower :-). In my opinion those wounds would have healed more if you had let them unprotected, i noticed that with my little campestre too. But i wont touch that subject too much

Bravo!
Every beginner wondering what to do with raw material should closely study this exemplary series of pictures.
It is necessary to select a pleasing trunk line right at the beginning and trust in the magic of the nature of deciduous plants: grow like there is no tomorrow, sprout all over the place. Then all you have to do is select those buds and branchlets that enhance the tree's transformation from stump to bonsai.
Of course, that is easier said than done.
