Seriously, I think they are all fabulous.
Where do they come from and what sort of stone are they?
Is it a common rock or rare?

Ogie,
Amazing. I have a friend from Bandung, Indonesia, Mr. Hartono, that has a stone, dark in color and with extensive metallugic composite, in the shape of an aliens head.
Keep the interesting stones coming.

Re: Famous people stone
Having fun with these, I tried loading a couple on www.pictriev.com [LINK].
Instead of a list of famous people who looked like them on the web, I received the message,

I'm not sure if I needed better photo angle or a better stone image. Would any stone pass Pictriev's algorithm for comparing faces? That is a challenge...Can not find a face. Please upload a different photo with a frontal view of the face.

Re: Famous people stone
Very good guess J lo, It would be hard for non Filipinos to recognize the faces, this only proves your closeness to us Filipinos.
The lady stone is Corazon "Cory" Aquino, she became president after the EDSA revolution that toppled the more than 20 year dictatorship in 1986
The other stone is Sen Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, the husband ofr Cory, he was assasinated in 1982 which triggered the the revolution.
Their son Benigno "Pnoy" Aquino III is now the current president of the Philippines.
I know Alex has another stone that resembles Pnoy

Kapabling,
Your country and mine, at one point in history, were the same and under the same flag. We share a common history. Puerto Rico and the Phillipines were united at one point, politically.
For those who don't believe this, look at our culinary tradition. Adobo is the typical seasoning and style of cooking in Puerto Rico, as well as the Phillipines. Non-Muslims consume lechón, which is roast pig in an open pit. In both countries, the name lechón is used. Furthermore and being sugar producing land, a lot of this was transferred to our way of life.
We have much to thank Filipinos, particularly Emilio Aguinaldo and other leaders who instilled pride and honor in being loyal to ones country. Now, through bonsai, we begin to forge our lost brotherhood.
Kind regards,
Jose Luis
