Schefflera raft

This is 'Hawaiian Elf variegata', a cultivar of Schefflera arboricola...just a little over ten inches in height from the soil line. If anyone has seen a similar pot, I would be interested in knowing something about it....it belonged to my father and I believe he purchased it in the 1950's - not sure of the source. The chop has faded and is no longer readable but the part that remains is red in color.
