Re: MY MOTHER Picture .
Hi Hung Tran... At some level which might be considered more important than the stone's formal (physical) qualities, a stone's contour or image is felt. Though not everyone will see it alike, in my opinion, we see it partially as a statement from the owner to whom we should give considerable respect.
I like your brief titles but know only a little of what you mean by "My Mother" and "tulip" in them. If only decorative images, I am less engaged. "My Mother" suggests MUCH more to me, & I think it has great resonance of showing your mother & you. She seems so large, protective & focused toward her son.

Hi CHRIS COCHRANE ,
I have a very deep memories of my mother .
I found on the surface of the stone described as a drawing : A mother and her children ...
I also see in paintings : The affection and protection characteristics of Mother for her children ...
And I have named this stone is ... MY MOTHER .
Thanks for your Sharing .
Bests Regards ,

Send to you another stone : MY art wood and stone ...

Re: MY MOTHER Picture .
Hi Hung Tran... Your tulip stone is a fine image, too, but have little idea what it means for you other than its decorative pattern. If IBC enthusiast Morea from the Netherlands were to post it, I would have a clue. Morea likes to test the edges of art & would likely choose a very non-traditional mounting for a very traditional Dutch image. What is your thought on mounting?

Welcome CHRIS COCHRANE ,
Many thanks your attention .
I do not understand the meaning of words " mounting " in your article , please you can explain to me understand .
If I understood " the intention of Mr . MOREA on my TULIP stone " , I may be willing to exchange it ( My TULIP stone will go to Holland , land of TULIPS ... )
I continue to send to you the following stone :
( It ' s black , Andesit material , weigh 2 Kg )
Is it a remote mountain ?
Thank you .

Re: MY MOTHER Picture .
Mounting (from "to mount") means nearly the same thing as seating (from "to seat"). I was asking how you would display the stone. Would you display it to represent a season (early spring?), an emotion (fullness of beauty), an event (the Netherlands victory in World Cup football!) or other allusion?
Morea is perhaps celebrating her country's recent football triumph, which isn't so much about the natural world but worthy of celebration.
