Re: tea-pot and flower of stone
Ritual tea with a tiny teapot & tiny cup is my favorite format for appreciating viewing stones. Can you share more about the cup & pot. Are these Vietnamese?
The pot's long spout recalls the water pot for storing cold water in several traditional Chinese (or Chinese inspired) tea forms. The height of the spout well above its pot is distinctive-- does it have a particular use other than for preparing tea? Would you brew tea in this pot? I like this choice as rare, elegant, astringent and probably eccentric!
The underglaze blue & white cup appears to illustrate a landscape with trees. Can we see it with more detail?
