You have a lot of potential with this one as soon as you can get it to really fill in more and then allow you to start cutting back and making individual pads with smaller leaves and more compact branches. That's what I did with this one shown here which took quite some time from where I originally started from which was a simple upright tree with a slight propensity to want to go semi cascade. Of course you might have something different in mind instead of using small compact pads. Either way good luck with an up and coming nice cascade ch. elm
