Fraxinus shohin
...a new project with a nice small fraxinus
This winter
after a small work

Looks very promising Pascal. I love the bark on this variety, is it excelsior?

Arn,t we in the bonsai world outside of Japan a little fussy about sizes? why not enjoy it for what it is ,a beautiful LITTLE tree

small pot, fertilization with low level of N, and water under control...and honey with water one time per week (for mycorhizae,bacteria, and others compounds for tree). For honey, two soup spoon in a lliter of water...and mix a glass of this solution with two others liter of water...and apply on the surface of the substrate (after normal watering)

Thank you Pascal. I have a lot of Fraxinus americana seedlings around my house and collected one last week, probably very close in age to the yours when you collected it. I'm waiting to see if I killed it or not. I've heard they are hard to train but I look forward to the challenge.
