Fraxinus excelsior - common ash
"Pascal 37" is the specialist for Ash, but I have a couple trees that I got from the birds: i just can't help putting anything that looks like a seedling in a pot, just to see.
I found it's rather easy to make cuttings in late winter (February), which usually gives an interesting nebari.
This one was made from a potted tree more tha a meter high, the cutting was about as thick as my thumb.
