Hybiscus nº2 - Shohin Moyogi
This one was made from stake 4 years ago.
The idea is a moyogi, but it's being quite dificult to get the proper ramification an leaf sizes...it has been restarted several times...
I think i'm close enough to have a decent structure to work on it's evolution.
I'm open to suggestions.

Re: Hybiscus nº2 - Shohin Moyogi
I've had the same problem with Hibiscus, leaves slow to reduce and new branches not where I'd hope for. I am constantly snipping off the largest leaves and do get smaller ones to replace them. You have a nice start on the trunk and main branches now, so hopefully you'll stay at it. I think it may just take more time than other trees. Mine is actually a group of 7. After several trunk chops I gave up and decided to let them grow freely since last summer. I got new branches close to 12" long with 2" internodes.

Indeed joe, hybiscus are hard to work with, at least, in small sizes....
I'm also constantly prunning the larger leaves. But i think i've finnlay achived a nice structure to work with...let's see how thing handle for now on...
As soon as it evolves, i'll show it to you guys...
Regards.
