Serissa phoetida - Moyogi
This is a tree that i've wanted to share with you guys for some opinions.
It's an 3 year old serissa, made from stake. The idea was a quite traditional moyogi as you can see.
I'll post some older pictures, and as soon as i've make some new ones, i'll show it to you guys...
This one is a picture from april/2008
Those two are from september/2008
The Back
The front, inclinated as it should be potted.
As i've said before, i don't have new pictures of it, but it has been trought some changes in the last few months...
The top is more rounded, the whole tree is a little thicker and it's growing quite well over a basin with rabbit manure...perhaps it will be potted on the next spring...

Re: Serissa phoetida - Moyogi
Hello Guy.
Actually, this "S" was bugging me for some long, but now, analysing again, i've decided that it's going to stay like this.
By the time it grow thicker and the crown gets more density, this should get more discreet. Also by potting it in the right inclination this should be appesed.
Thanks for the opinion

Re: Serissa phoetida - Moyogi
Follows new pics from this tree.
It was recently potted and I inteded to plant it with a little bit more bent to the right but it was not possible at this point.
Next time she gets potted, I'll fix that and the apex will be then centered with the base.

I like the movement of the tree as it is. Wouldn't it be problematic to bend the branches down without breaking them?

Re: Serissa phoetida - Moyogi
I wouldn't actually bend any branch or the trunk, would only re-pot it a little bent to the right, like this:
About 15-20º to the right.
