My experience says that most of your trunk will die back with the size of the cuts you have made on top, if it isn't already mostly deadwood, leaving only the veins directly supporting the small branches remaining alive. You can probably also expect some good back budding tho, even from the trunk. I would initially try for a literati maybe using the lower right hand branch, or whatever buds out a bit lower, to continue the spiral motion of the trunk to the right.

Keen eye on collecting,....me say u have nice trees meastro!
How is the nebari?
Can you develop this with technique?
I would cut the top to first branch,and take it on to the long road.....
Literati potentilla in this shape,.....rare.
And yes when its healthy it'l sprout!
U seem to have gathered a nice stock of tree's witch will learn you a lot.
Do you visit workshops,.....what is the path you walk.
To become more skilled in little bonsai land.
