five years of growth and styling
the tree is a juniperus chinensis blaww purchased in 2005 from a shop called concrete jungle in south ealing.
I paid £120 pounds for it which I now know I was seen coming from a mile off but it was my first proper tree and still admire it today.

Don't give up hope. There's a nice bonsai there. I'll just take a bit of work.
To me, the jin is too long and not very interesting. A stub would be better.
Then, you need to do something with those 3? branches midway on the right. I think I'd get rid of (maybe a short jin) the fatter branch above the others. I'd keep the one you have wired down, and maybe you could make a back branch out of the last one???
Finally, chop that last straight section at the top. All of it. The trunk is too thick for the height and it is much too straight. Unless you like those sharpened pencil-type jins at the top of trees, chop it all..
After that, experiment with some planting angles and give us another picture.
