Re: Some pots for the new gallery
Beautiful piece Dale! I could imagine the spending on each planter, specially the oval shape pot.

I love how clean and smooth the curves and surfaces are on that first oval. The precision and symmetry
are elegant.

Re: Some pots for the new gallery
A few weeks ago I had one of them there epiphany things while I was looking at ads for the new INDIAN motorcycles and admiring their beautiful leather seats.
It was a new technique expanded off of my original DRY RIVERBED technique on VERY rugged pots and I decided to call it 'OLD CRACKED SEWN LEATHER'.
Well I made a prototype of the idea ( this is IT) and then made a larger one not yet fired. I have a few thoughts now in the works to improve on the idea. This is the FIRST of this idea. 8 3/4" x 7 3/4" x 2 1/2"

I have further ideas on the stitched leather ( as soon as I get more of that clay) but I'm passing on the fringe
I think ONLY a bonsai guy with an INDIAN would buy one !

Hi Dale,
Great looking pots as usual, I'm not into bikes but I would buy one of your pots with the cracked leather..... I really like it....there is also other colors of cracked leather to try
Cheers Graham

That blue glaze is awesome. I'd love to see it on a larger pot!
