Re: Some pots for the new gallery
Hi Dale,
an interesting piece.
Unfortunately, I have no idea about it, something I've never held in my hand.
In Germany it is strictly forbidden to possess such a thing.
regards
Peter

Hi Dale!
Beautiful pots
What makes this silky, if it does not gloss?

These are lovely pots! The Dragon and the Gold Fish are especially appealing as a combination of earthy clay with the design.
I've been scouring youtube today for inspiration.
It's a treat to see those nice pots and glazing experiments.
Do people use Soda Fired ware for Bonsai?
This week I bought my first Bonsai candidate (rangpur lime) at the local Yamagami's Nursery in Cupertino.
They have nice selection of starter plants but only two pots in a cupboard and some nice tools for bonsai.

I don't quite understand your question? Sorry?

Wonderful Dragon pot Dale. You could sell those by the container load in Wales. Here's our National flag.

Cool flag!
That IS VERY similar!
The container load huh? Hmmmm!
I have several more other dragons in various stages of completion.

Yes, I'll be there....hoping the weather is better than last year. Sales are very weather dependent there.
Every year it's a toss-up for me though what with the outside tent and the Nat. Arb fee now on top of the tent fee.
The one year I skipped there were fewer vendors, weather was like 85 and was first year for continual speakers in adjoining tent areas and everyone did GREAT. Figures

Hope a few of these (and more like them) are coming to the MidAtlantic Bonsai Societies festival in April. Of course, if you sell them first I'll have more money for other things...
