I had heard that Brazil was the only country in South America where people didn't speak Spanish, but I was pretty sure it was Portuguese...

I was reading about the saying 'an acorn (apple) does not fall far from the tree' and I saw it in German so I gave it a go. I learned a few words and as a matter of fact it seems to be a very nice language.
