Today we reached the 50cm of snow, lots of people could not drive to work, busses and trains are late if driving.
In my green house its about -1c, man I hate snow, nice to look at and thats it Twisted Evil

I have to say I agree with Peter. Nice on a Christmas card or in a photogarph and that's about it.

We're supposed to get some snow mixed with ice tonight and tomorrow. Is that "snice"?

Went out to get some logs for the fire. Snows really comming down now Very Happy

Got about 8" here in Kent and its still coming thick and fast, day off work for me Very Happy

Softy S. England showing through again, talk of days off and such like !.
Its always the same, get a complimentary dusting to remind you its supposed to be winter and everyone gets in a flap. Bet they all have started panic buying foodstuffs already!

Most schools are closed and traffic was stuck on the Orwell bridge for 12 hours last night. All this for a few inches Sad

I've helped two cars stuck in the compacted snow, outside my house today. Both times, my attention was drawn by extreme revving of engines. Both elderly drivers who obviosly thought the friction involved would melt them out of trouble Rolling Eyes

Eventually they might be able to melt their way out, though I'd bet they would run out of fuel well before then.
