Re: Snowing today!
Hi Will, looks like some beautiful trees there in the background can we see some of them. By the way whats that white stuff, is it some kind of winter fertilizer or something . We very rarely get snow here on the Wirral .

It wouldn't dare! Wouldn't be surpised if we got a flurry here - it's been doing that mild before the snow storm thing that we get.Ian Warhurst wrote: We very rarely get snow here on the Wirral
Will - I echo Ian's comments about letting us see some of those other trees as there look like some gems there. Do it once that white stuff is away of course.
Ah well - at least we know it isn't dandruff!

No snow here, but it is 14 degrees F without the wind chill factor.

Re: Snowing today!
I can't even get pictures of my trees, they are buried under 15-18 inches of snow that got piled up on them during the storm that hit here last week. 38 to 46 cm for you metric folks.

Re: Snowing today!
That storm was supposed to hit us hard, but slipped North instead. I'd rather my temperate trees were buried in snow... no need to water and the temps of the trees don't go below freezing. Hopefully, the double covering on my cold frame will keep mine safe. This weekend the heater will be added, but not used unless it is supposed to drop below 10*

Jay, our central heating is a bit iffy just now, so if you don't mind I'm gonna move into your "bonsai house" for a few weeks.

I think that for the second time today I, as a Scot, shall have to use the word "schadenfreude".Ian Warhurst wrote:if we have 30mm of snow in England the whole country comes to a standstill.
All just part of the merry banter you understand.

Well the whole state did basically come to a standstill for most of a day. Although the Des Moines airport did manage to stay open strangely enough.

Nice pics Morten. Very seasonal - just like Christmas cards.
