Boxwood. Eight years of life in a pot...

One of my first tree in a pot.  Eager heart and no experience.  I haven't paid any attention to the reverse taper or  problematic positions of  branches. I have just seen a great starter that opens my door to the world of bonsai.

As you can see and appreciate my adoration of plastic pots is rock solid. No change in last x years...

The nature has taken care of the reversed taper and the problematic branches are hidden somewhere under the lenient pads of foliage...
Great things with boxwood - not to worry about the winter image.

For some strange reason reminds me of a Chinese Serissa.

How long did it take to reduce the roots?
My boxes fell when I reduced the root.

Thank you, Khaimraj.   The shape of leaves maybe?  On the other side the blossoms of box are quite unostentatious.

Thank you, Irina. As they say : the dumbest farmer grows the biggest potatoe" I just took it off the ground and pot it in a sizable plastic container. The current pot is also a bit larger than it should be. But the boxwood needs more leg room than many other species.
