I need help to identify this tree please!!!

Hi all,
I'm writing in need to identify this tree shown in pics below. This tree was given to me by my neighbor since he knew that I'm currently training other trees for future bonsai (on my fourth year so far:)
Unfortunately he doesn't know the name of it put he has kept it indoors so far and never letting the soil dry.
I live in zone 5 but since ti is a indoor tree that is not important i think.

Tree characteristics:

- close alternate small leaves
- dark green color leaves
- semi-glossy relatively smooth leaves.
- not compound leaves
- smooth tooth all around the leave
