please identify the scientific name of this tree

hi there. i bought this tree for 0.9 usd last few days.
it is suffering from fungi attack and now i'm treating it.
the problem is, i cant identified its species.
my lecturer said that it is the same species as baeckea frutescen.
the bark and leaf look almost the same with baeckea.
its leaf also have a nice fragrant like baeckea.

If you rub the leaves and they let off a smell might be rosemary.or some kind of taxus.

yes, the leaf did give good smell

then my guess is rosemary.

i dont think so as this tree grow in tropical climate, thanks for trying to help

Looks to me like a New Zealand Tea tree. (Leptospermum Scoparium)
