New Tree help
It is a wonderful time of the year in south Central texas. Temp in the 80's, Blue Bonnets are popping up everywhere, and it is time to dig some new trees. I dug up this Texas Persimmons (Diospyros Texana). It will be 2 years before I even touch this tree. I am looking for some design ideas for. PLEASE HELP!!!

Re: New Tree help
Ron,
hello,
try not to laugh. I have one, since 1986 or so. Left it to trunk thicken.
It will re-sprout from all over easily.
Just get it healthy and try and get some images of mature shrubs/trees in nature.
Post them here at IBC.
We can work out a design then.

i agree with khai... hard to make plans until you know what it gives you to work with

Re: New Tree help
This is the most important for now. Get your tree established and growing healthy. Let it grow unrestricted. Feed well (after it has recovered).Khaimraj Seepersad wrote:... ...Just get it healthy... ...

May I ask what is the substrate you are using?

New Tree help
Thanks for those that replied. I do plan on letting it go for 2 yrs before any work is done. I want to make sure it is well established before I try anything. Just looking for a few ideas with that truck and the dead wood
