From practical experience, what exact variety of trident maple are: smallest leaf, most winter hardy and most showy in terms of spring and foliage.
Also I heard and read that they are good for root over rock style. What kind of rock is usually good for tridents? I think there are different and popular kinds of rock for bonsai.
