Japanese Maple "Penjing"

This is my 3 year old Japanese Maple "Penjing" Grouping with Monks enjoying themselves under the comfort of the shade provided by the Maples.

I'm trying to achieve a "Crown" style to the Maple Canopy of 9 Trees...

The trees are Japanese Maple, Acer Palmatum not sure of the subculture's, several are Grafts...

18"w x 11"d x 2"h Ceramic Pot...Maple canopy is 28"Wx23"Dx 28"H overall...

Kevin, these Monks are from Milwaukee and as you know Anything Goes....

I missed the Grand Rapids, Mejer Gardens show this year but would have made a special trip had I known you and your co-horts were going....
