My Bonsai Buddy Has Departed Empty My Bonsai Buddy Has Departed

Post  bonsaistud Tue Oct 13, 2009 6:43 pm

G'day Bonsai Friends...

My Bonsai Buddy...my wife Thelma...of thirtysomething years, passed away the morning of Friday, September 25, 2009 at 7:03am. Our daughter and granddaughter were with us as she left quietly and peacefully following a restful night...cause of death was, complications due to organs that were damaged by her breast cancer.

Since returning home (No. California) two years ago from our 12 year vacation in So. Arizona, my primary "occupation" was tending to Thelma's needs...coping with breast cancer. About 10 weeks back, she became bed ridden... But she did die in her own home.

Thank you for listening...

Hi Pat,

So sorry to hear about your wife. Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear,
just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.

May you take comfort in knowing an angel is watching over you. May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead.

Dear Pat: Your beloved Thelma has left this world after fighting a courageous battle with you at her side. Her journey on earth is over and she now travels with our creator. Thelma can now be with Will's Dad, my daughter Allyson, and others, looking at the most beautiful trees/bonsai on green pastures. The eternal candle light that Dorothy posted is her nearby every day. Maybe our paths will cross. Dustin Mann ps. part of a poem "I am with you in the sunshine, when your glow warm and bright..I am with you when life's shadows bring long hours of endless night..I am with you in the autumn of your years, to turn to gold every memory of our yeaterdays".

Adding my voice to the chorus of sympathy.
Let your grief come as it will; no words can stop it.
May you find joy and comfort in the memories.
