I just recently noticed the members map.And I am a little dissapointed that the map shows me on the west coast of the Hudsons Bay Canada instead of bc canada.Does anybody know how i can change that.

Re: member map
Will have a look Dave. But you're probably about the only person who has ever noticed the member map.
Where is it?

When I didn't know there was a map,it didn't matter.Now I know there is one and I can't find it-it matters-I give up-give us a clue- where is it?

Re: member map
Once upon a time, I'd found it. Earlier this week, after an inquiry by Terek, our lone member from Lebanon, I looked again and couldn't find it. I think Kev knows.

Well whaddya know? I got it by clicking on the text Who Is Online?
Why don't you edit your Profile and put the BC part of your location first and see if that changes it.
I won't sleep until you have been properly located you know.

I tried your suggestion and I know its not a big deal. However no one else is stuck in close to the artic region.I did notice that if I was relocated you would be the new farthest north member fiona.......hmmmmmm.It by no means takes away from my experience. And if somebody knows how to change great if not no big deal.Don't lose any sleep i'm not.

Re: member map
Maybe you would have to write out British Columbia in full. Mine is pretty accurate though. We need some members from Greenland now.

Re: member map
Thanks for relocating it.
Down at the bottom right of the map there is a button for reporting a map error. It locates me OK, so there's no reason for me to try it -- don't expect an immediate response. <g>

Where?
Well, I certainly would not want to live in Norfolk UK - weather, coastal erosion, house prices (I'd lose a fortune!), shelter for the bonsai and niwaki. However, I suppose it's near enough for international communication. "Have you got a light, boy?" = old English song parodying the Norfolk accent!

Jim instead of NC I finally found out that I am actually in Kansas. Been there but didn't know that I lived there. OH Well, when you roll the dice you never know what you will get.

Re: member map
How many members are there in Costa Rica? Just me? Thats how it feels! I havnt found a single bonsai lover in the whole southern part of the country. Everyone thinks ( knows) Im a crazy gringo when I ask about bonsai. A nursery owner told me to make them for him to sell. I think 8 months isnt enough experience! Anyway, just wondered if there are more like me or Costa Rican members. I speak both English and Spanish so any new friends are welcome..
