Re: Kishu juniper
Beautifully understated. Bravo. It compliments the tree perfectly without in any way drawing attention to itself. Perfect behavior for a bonsai pot.

Re: Kishu juniper
Hi Hans,
It is the highest reward for a potter to see this beautiful combination
A pot without a tree is irrelevant, only the interaction between the tree and pot make up the good composition.
But the tree is always the main character, the pot is the honor of the tree.
regards
Peter

Beautiful tree Hans, very good choice with the Peter Krebs pot.
Looking forward to see him "life" at the exhibition next year.

Hans, Andy puts it so well.
Great tree... your early work, Marios 'refining' and Peters lovely pot to 'frame' the tree.
An inspiration to all on the forum

Could'nt agree more with Andy and Tony, beautiful composition. The tree reminds me of the lofty Scots pines you see in the landscape.

Re: Kishu juniper
I think it's absolutely horrible. Terrible. I wouldn't have done that. I'd have used any pot BUT that one!
But then again that's only because I really really coveted that pot and had a BIG plan for it in Scotland.
Seriously though now that is a great result there - marvellous combination of pot and tree and just sums up why it's so important (not to mention worthwhile) to get the match right. I'll just need to persuade Peter to make another similar pot for me.
Well done, Hans.

Sorry,
I renamed some directories on my PhotoAlbum account during some reorganizing of my pictures last week, and didn't realize they were gone over here. I have fixed the broken links now.
Regards,
Hans

Hi Hans
Very, very nice tree. I like very much the character of the lower right branch. Overall development is really great. Mario and you certainly very good cooperation.
Congratilations, Pavel.

Hans, I love your tree. I like the shape of pot #4, but I like the color of pot #3. The lighter brown compliments the bark.

Hi Hans,
A tree of exceptional beauty. I have been admiring pics of this tree for sometime now and great to know that things get better with age....
And if I may add that this tree is one of my All time Favourites Bunjins
Keep up the great work
Ravi

Tree is nice, good luck with that. I really like the accent--what is it? Some kind of lilly?
