Hung My Friend mine are not any better just using a different eye!... 
I like lots of color the more the better for me, I like them to scream at me for attention.
But I have been tough that black is the best for suiseki, quite, suggestive and austere.
it is very much in the Japanese tradition and very desirable for professional suiseki collectors.
I myself would have more solid black if I could find them, but their not easy to find.
In my youth I looked for large stones, found only five in 28 years of searching, lucky.
It is only as an old man that I now look for small easy to carry home small to medium stones.
But it has not gotten any easier! in fact it has been harder to find quality small black stones.
Still love big ones their just harder to carry home now which makes a big difference to my back.
Your are also in a geographically better area "The ring of fire" which are old volcanic flows.
They produced many hard solid black stones which are great for classical suiseki stones.
It is a good thing you like black cause there are many many in your area of the World. 
The high quality is easy to see!, it speaks for it's self...
