I love the smooth blackness of these rocks. They look almost like dry tar. Where do they come from?

Hi Nguyenhungson... Your first stone with its matte finish & nicely carved wood seat interests me. When I have to guess at a stone being wetted, acid-washed or buffed to create a sheen, my interest fades unless I know the collector or stone source well. The second stone has a wonderful "rolling hills" contour.
