Are there any insects on the leaves currently? And if so, can you take a photo of them?

You need what we call a systemic insecticide. Go to the nearest garden center & ask what is available. You need to spray three times a week apart.

I can't tell what insect you have, and it doesn't matter. A systemic insecticide is one which is absorbed into the plant and kills insects when they try to eat the plant. Two well known ones here are acephate and imidacloprid. I don't know what you have in India, so you will have to ask.
I don't know what you mean by causes. There are insects all over the world and some of them eat various plants. In agriculture, plant breeders breed crop plants that are resistant to insects & diseases, but with plant hobbyists, our only sure remedy is to be watchful & spray at the right time.
