Re: Planning ahead 2
Very Nice Jim,
I can see the cascade trees growing down from the River Mountain top or canyon walls...
and smell dinner being cooked as we drift slowly down river at the end of a hard working day.
Quality items which are all very beautiful, the bronze boat Okimono is fabulous!,
love the Display Stand and of course the season depicting Shohin Bonsai! nice grouping...
BUT IMHO am left looking for the third item?, a tiny accent reed, grass or even a spec of moss on a stone
placed at the lowest(water)level, on table top all the way out to the left on a small slab style jiita...
set out by itself as an island and set forward a little, would complete the three point display, i think...
"Advise Offered" as an expert on nothing! and only as a friendly suggestion!

I like this display better than the other display "planning ahead". I really like the flow of the tree. How small are we talking here?

the stand is 20 inches wide. So fairly small. The tree is much too big for the other stand.

Very, very lovely Cotoneaster Jim, you keep on inspiring me to grow smaller and smaller bonsai!
The boat is beautiful ...is it really bronze like Stonener said? Can I have it?
Love and light

Thank you.
Yes. It is bronze, and at least 70 years old. Jackie's grandparents got it before WWII some time. They'd lived in Japan since 1902.

Hey Dre!
You'd probably have to kill both of them for it!
and then me...
