Hi,

I have to say Robert, out of all the displays so far this is a cut above the others. Question is, what is she doing with those scissors, is she trying to bring the beauty out of that beautiful bush (bonsai of course   ) between her legs or is she titillated by the beautiful flowers blooming close to her bosom? This is a peek preview to the yummyness of your event. Stimulating image!!! (The bonsai of course!!!!!)

But still..the transportation will cost a fortune, but who care..the pride to be selected and exhibited in IBA&CB 2014 pays !

I am still working on the display idea for these trees before sending the photos for the selection process. A big project indeed, I estimate to have about 50 trees to pass the selection. Not less than 5 big trucks for 10 hours transportation from Jakarta to Yogyakarta, including the display.

   

Another large Streblus asper. Six months to refine, hopefully.....  

Beside the quality of the tree, every participant is encouraged to innovate their creative display to the selection process.
Only the selected bonsai will be exhibited in the International Bonsai Art & Culture Biennale 2014.

This is among the hundreds entries.....

The animo of IBA&CB 2014 participants are over the target and our expectation, the entries flowing in every day are exciting.

The selection team should work harder and tighten the process to select only the best bonsai to be on display. Extra work for the organizer but good for the quality of IBA&CB 2014....

Participants are busy preparing their best bonsai for the selection process to join the "International Bonsai Art & Biennale 2014".

We are expecting more than 300 best bonsai on unique display...

More entries are coming in approachig the closing date of selection process for the "International Bonsai Art & Culture Biennale 2014".

Very likely the selected quality bonsai will be over target, so either we will expand the exhibition hall or some will be displayed out-door. Either way, you will witness the most unique bonsai presentation ever done....

Finally, the selection process is done. Due to the numbers of entries and the bonsai quality, we have no way to stick on our target...and finally we should accept the total number of almost double. How shouldn't we ? because they are all the best selected bonsai from the country !!!

The display team will certainly work very hard to put all the bonsai in proper and unique display...just the way you will never imagine !
