Re: My Collection
Hello Nick
Thank you for showing some stones you collected.
Some thoughts on a few stones.
The boat stone could also been seen as a landscape stone, what do you think?
Fine waterfall stone, the feet of the daiza can be strong here but are a bit to big.

The daiza of this mountain stone is much to strong and shows an extension of the mountain as it follows the line of the mountain slope, something that not serves the stone, the grain of the wood takes the attention away from the stone. A thinner and darker daiza would make the mountain image much stronger, but i do not know if this is possible with the stone, does it have a flat base?

The coastal stone gives a natural cliff image, the daiza has a good color and hight but the feet are to heavy i feel.

Hello Nick.
Yes they pile up over the years.
A selection of the good ones and give away, put back, use as garden stones or sell the rest would be an idea,
it is like the adage Tony Tickle and Marcus Watts are expressing here on the forum.
Maybe others have suggestions,
i have only self collected stones and bought only one at a bonsai show.
Maybe getting a sales boot at a show would be an option?
Is there a viewing stones club in the UK?
