An indoor penjing
Hi IBC.
Just sharing a tough bonsai species.
This composition is intended for interior display. This species I found out is more resilient to indoor condition than most ficus species. they can stay indoor even in Airconditioned room as long as they can get small amount of sunlight. the only downside is that the leaves grew bigger in this condition. This particular tree in the photo stayed indoor for 3 months, the moss died and I have to do some trimming and replace the moss with sand. tomorrow it is going back indoor in my wife's office.
One of the problem I have is the scientific/latin name. Locals categorize it under murraya family for a long time. but I believe it is not. I saw some of this species in China they call it "Polan".
regards,
jun

Beautiful work Jun.
Can you show a leaf ?
It looks like what is sold as a Chinese privet.
Thanks for showing.

Another very nice composition Jun.
This is one of your penjing that I did not see.
I remember you saying that you had a few trees on display at your wife's office.
I really enjoyed the tour.
Salamat po.

Paul

Thanks LLB! I got some Chinese privet too, It is not. We got the materials locally from mountain sides. usually shrubs clinging on rocks.
I'll show the leaves later.
