Hawthorn (crataegus monogyna) teenager
Nothing special, i've just been 'busy' today with 3 trees, just a random post..with a hawthorn teenager. Its the first pot that doesnt really fit but it was one i had to make do with. It'll do for some years.
Obviously lots of ramification needed, and maturing. For a more mature bark i'll have to wait another 10 to 20 years I guess . I had it in 2008, from a friend, it looked totally different then.
its just a beginning with (non yamadori) hawthorn of this age. I have to lower that first left branch a bit with guy wire, as well as the lowest right one (a bit on the rear/side). It grew vigourously last year, hope for that to continue
