I took a couple but the yellow sodium lighting will take a bit of "shopping" before people post their efforts I suspect
Pretty good show all in all with many of the usual IBC suspects there and I got the pot I was looking for after a bit of a haggle with the Walsall chaps.
:-)

Hi Todd, Mike Jones and Ian have got them on their blogs. Both the same images

Was my first ever show and it was fantastic, great trees, great people, cheap Jamesons at the bar. Awesome

Simply stunning trees! The Pyracantha is outrageous - what color!!!
The White Pine (I presume) with roots clasping the rock is spectacular. They all look superb!
Envy and awe!

Wow, imagine having to wire that third tree. Is it an elm? Very impressive

Hi Paul,
It was the fourth tree. But the Picea and pot are incredible. I'm not familiar with the term "wonky". Is that the potter? Who is the potter?
thanks,
Todd

Re: Any pics from the Swindon show to share?
Hi Todd
I can see the one you mean, yes it is a white pine and BIG one..........sorry wonky is referring to the non straight pot as the front foot seems to push the pot up so it doesn't look as if it is sitting straight, sorry for the confusion. The owner of the tree and I suspect the potter is John Pitt see http://www.johnpittbonsaiceramics.co.uk/
I have found another pic of the white pine

It is a Siberian Elm, developed by light wiring and clip and grow. see http://bonsai-passion.co.uk/case-histories/sierian-elm/ for it's history over the years
A lovely tree owned by a friend of mine

Good to see the old Juniper again after all the years, in the first picture. Its now 30 years later after I had first seen it in a book. Good to see it is still healthy and it looks like the same pot. Thanks
