any thoughts on this species? i cant find any info on them and i have a chance to pick up several of them, just wondering if it would be worth the investment.

I love 'em. Beautiful leaves IMHO. If you are getting them bare root they will need sweating to break bud most likely.

I have one. Very long, large thorns. Fast grower. Scars heal slowly.

thanks guys and yes they do come bare root, and what do you mean by "sweating" ?
