Larix forrest collected 2007
I collected this Larch in a nearby forrest in 2007, after several stylings I seem to get stuck. today with some bonsai friends we looked at it again and decided........
Next year it will be repotted in this new angle and the wired branches will be placed in their new position. In the virtual is the possible new look.....
Whats your opinion?
winth kind regards, Wessel

I think that the new planting angle will make the tree that much better!

I like the new angle, but personally don't care for your virt, sorry
I don't think anything is gained by removing the rest of what you are
proposing to remove. I think with wiring and repositioning of the branches
they will easily fall in line with your new planted angle... therfore why remove ???
I also, like how the apex of your tree will lean forward, bowing to the observer.
I would though extend your shari at the base of your trunk as you proposed
and perhaps wrap it around towards the back.

Hi Stacy, if you are closely looking you will see that the top allready has been removed, so I have to build up with only that lefthand branch. Top, new Apex will be made by wiring the first side branch, which is now a little to the back, forward, thus creating a bow to the front. Rest will be wired in position so there will be a little composition to the left of the trunk.
I made a new virtual using the 2012 image, so the frontangle will be different.
