Posting pics from iPad iPhone.
Dear ibc administrator
. When trying to posts pics from iPad/iPhone that are stored on your ipad/iphone. Your able to get all the way to where you click the copy button on the image row at that point the copy button does not work. Is there a way to get that fixed? There are quite a few apple devices out here. Using a desktop computer is getting to be a thing of business only. Is it a expense thing to make this work? It's possible because the bonsai nut forum has it working effortlessly. I love this forum, but don't post any trees because of this drawback. I only post progressions on the other forum because of ease of use. Thanks again for anything you can do.

You could also just select the text in the text field, and copy manually.

From the FOrum Support:
Question: is it possible to make a forumotion post using an ipad or iphone? Right now, i am able to view posts in the forumotion forums where i post (on my ipad and iphone), but i am unable to login and write my own posts.
Response: This feature is still in beta, you will only be able to browse the forum as a guest. No posting yet.
That was posted at the beginning of November. Interesting response as I was under the impression some folk were perfectly able to post routine (ie without pics) posts from iphone and ipad.
I can certainly browse and post text from my Android, but not upload pics. Or at least not as far as I can see. Am away to fiddle about some more.

Conflicting information - would be good if other iphone and/or ipad users chimed in here. All I can find is that there are apps for photo uploading.

Posting photos
First you have to high lit the second photo window it will look like this[img][/img]
Next you go to photo bucket and go to your photo, then you go to the bottom right and hit the I button this will bring up all the image codes. Now you select the IMG, and copy it, and the screen will look like this
[img][/img]
Then you go back to IBC and paste it in the box, and it will look like this
[img][/img]
And the select ok and the code will be in the post window with your text and the whole post will look like this
[img][/img]
Then you go to the bottom of this window and hit preview and your photo and text will come up. You can now edit the post or post it.
Hope this helps It's pretty easy once you get into it.

Mitch, are those photos stored on your phone, though? That's what Jeremy was asking about. It looks like you are using an app to access images stored on Photobucket.

That worked. That's my new jbp stock. The problem is it comes up as a link as opposed to a pic. Still working to make work

I took them with my camera phone, then saved them to photobucket and retrieved them to post. This is a step by step that should help him.
The trick is going thru photobucket!

Re: Posting pics from iPad iPhone.
I was told that iphone being a Mac product needs to have the data converted to be compatable with IBM programs. Photobucket does this.
