Yes, Dorothy, the welcome was just touching... It was a real great time, and their bonsai were just out of my expectation ! I am just home, will post more pictures to share....

Vinh, thanks for posting and thanks for everything that made the program so successful. This was the biggest crowd I have ever had for my program...over 300 from different provinces, not easy ! The enthusiasm was so touching... and the bonsai hobby in Vietnam was just shocked me !!! ...always bonsai in EVERY house that has garden or terrace all over the country, just need to see to believe !

They also have one local species called Sam (I can't find the botanical name) with very nice trunk character and the leaves are perfect for bonsai...small, compact and bright green. Any can help to identify the botanical name ?
And this was used for my demo (Ofcourse Vietnamese like Penjing so much)...
And I was told this giant Penjing cost more than USD 50,000.-
...and not to forget to mention that they have so many different kinds of nice rocks. The best I like is the elephant skin rock I used for my demo above.
