Help! bonsai already turning colors might be dying :( just got it two days ago and also dont know type to look for help. please help
Ok so first off I was prob not the most intellegent person to just buy a bonsai tree, I was under a dumb idea all bonsai same type of tree. The person who sold me the bonsai, told me it could be kept indoors. I was unaware what kind of bonsai I had after figureing that there where a lot of different types. What I am guessing is a Juniper but you can see pictures as well they will show what type of tree I have also where I am seeing brown leaves and they seem to be filling out quick! I am not sure if this is normal I am thinking not, but I dont know. The trunk is a little black like it is sucking up to much water maybe I am not to sure either on that. I really like the bonsai tree I grew on it fast lol but anyways I want to make it work so pleaaassseee HELP ME! Currently I put it outside for most of todays evening in a shade and now I was not sure if it would rain so I now have it in the garage and ill move it back outside tomorrow. If you have any suggestions on the type of tree I have and also how to maybe fix what is wrong with it i would be greatly apprecieated thank you so much

This probably won't be what is causing the trunk to blacken, but if the stones on the soil surface are glued of epoxied in place, get rid of them. They're terrible for gas exchange and aeration, and are pretty impermeable to water.
This link( http://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/bonsai/first-bonsai.htm ) might help with the very basics of getting started, but I would suggest looking up species specific care once you find out exactly what your tree is(I'm not experienced enough to identify most trees yet). A google search for care guides for your selected species is usually a good place to start.

Many of us start out just the way you have so don't worry. What you have is a Juniper Procumbens Nana. As you have been told, if those rocks are glued on, get them off ASAP. These are, (with the exception of very experienced practitioners) outdoor only plants. Don't over water that is a great way to kill bonsai. Be careful of full day direct sun, especially at first as it has likely not had much sun.
Oh and don't go back to the guy who sold it to you.

Your Juniper will withstand a frost but a freeze might damage the pot and roots, so if below 32 F is expected bring it in for the night or if inly slightly below 32 just throw a towel around the the base of the tree. The tree looks OK in your photos, but use a meat skewer to probe the soil, if the soil is wet don't water.

Thanks for all the replies, sorry not sooner on a response, no the rocks are not glued on not sure if they have glue on them or anything like that tho, my tree is currently outside i moved it out there this morning. the current tempeture is 36 degrees farenheight. i have it on a chair near a fence ( im afraid of my dog getting to it), i have a shirt tho that covers it it gives it shade on top and on sides. I was not sure where exactly the sun will rise as in right above or a little on the side so i did not want to sunburn leaves on the side. By the way thanks for all the replies. I would really like to keep this little guy alive, like i said it has grown on me is it ok to put in the garage if it is going to rain or get very cold or is that not that good of a spot?

So I was thinking my tree was a juniper by looking at it, so I was reading up on thos and saw that they ussually keep all there leaves, but my question would be do all trees get a little brown or yellow is that natural for a little brown? Also what might be some things to look out for that would be early signs of trouble for the tree? Is ok to spray a little water on the leaves everyday, not a soak down but a small misting? I was assuming that might be ok and good but I dont want to do it if it were going to hurt it? Thanks agian

Is the current condition in the pictures? Some color change can be natural due to cold weather, is the foliage cruchy or is kinda softish still? Glad you're getting info, oh and the mention of the tooth brush as a method for srubbing or cleaing the trunk i do believe.

DO NOT MIST!!! Read my post about using a skewer to test and water when the skewer is dry. Over watering will kill this tree faster than anything else. These are usually planted in heavy soil so the store doesn't have to water very often. This time of year it might not need water but once a week. When you do water, apply water three time, water until it run out the bottom, water again the same and a third time the same. This will assure a good watering. BUT, only do this when the tree has had a chance to dry out. Remember, Junipers like this come from dry highlands.
