Rudi,
thanks for posting the images.
By any chance do you have a photo of the tamarind from 3 years ago?
I am interested in seeing how much growth took place over the time period.
Thanks again.

Hi Jed,
Yes, it is fucus. Warning, Ficus root over rock is addictive I still have 4 small ones. I let the roots reach the ground to make them grow faster but still it years for them to grow big.

i've got many ficus root over rock in the works right now but all of them had fairly well developed roots when i put them on the rock. i'm using wire and neoprene rubber pads to try force them as close to the rock as possible but i suspect the best way is to get the roots develop from almost nothing on the rock above ground

Re: Pemphis, Tamarind and Ficus
Hi Steve,
Larger roots can also be screwed to the rock. What I often do with ficus on rock is I cover the roots and the rock with a coffee sack like this http://static5.depositphotos.com/1008504/519/i/950/depositphotos_5197059-Coffee-sack-texture.jpg and I just leave it there until the material rots.

Nice Collection Bro, i like your ficus on the rock, but im just curious of the garden you have, it seems shaded but i hope not, because collections you got there needs direct sunlight..and not filtered one.. more power Bro and more display to post..

Hi Ferdie,
Thanks!
The trees are in direct sunlight. The photos were taken around 3:30 pm to 4 pm when sunlight is already blocked by the trees.
