Hello Dorothy. The Pemphis were also works in progress of a friend. I would say these trees were trained for longer than a year.dorothy7774 wrote:Welcome, Promelaw. Are you saying the pemphis are only in training since 4 months?Primelaw wrote:Hi Efi. I got my hands on these trees just 4 months ago.

This friend of mine is a private collector who does not usually sell or post his trees in the internet. He is from the metro too. He parted with most of the pemphis I have and introduced me to another person who has a garden where I got the ficus and tamarinds from. The IXORA I got from the seedling bank. You can PM So I can try to make an intro with them:)jsonacob wrote:Wow!

That's nicely done in such a short period. I like the second Pemphis a lot! Keep us posted with the development of your trees please.Primelaw wrote:Hello Dorothy. Hello Yog:
I believe its a f. Concinna since this is what I see in literature describing what we call locally as the red balete. I am not so sure about the leaf structure though as compared to the pictures of concinna I see in the web. Maybe the resident botanists here can enlighten us..
