Yamadori 3FT Tamarindus indica (Tamarind)
I bought the material last April, out of 3 big yamadori's, this is the only who was able to survive...i hope to have this one growing and improving in the coming months...

Darwin,
normally, I repair that type of cut/damage, with free growing for about 1 to 3 years. Looks like the tree will make a beautiful broom. I left a nearly silhouette of a Tamarind tree in a Chinese rice paddy on this site about 2 years ago, you can pull it up on Google with a search for Tamarind Bonsai.
Looking forward to seeing what you settle on as a design.

Thanks khaimraj for the idea. . .will have this ground grown here in my place. Actually Jun suggested to make a hole in the bottom so pulling it up after sometime will not be that difficult. Will search your tamarind . .
