Hi Thanghoa & Hung Tran... Can you explain the reference to the leaf/"floating leaf" used as the seat (& illustrated under the seat in another photo) for this praying-figure stone? Thanks.

beautiful stone! thank-you for sharing....Smile

The last two years I looked diligently for a hut stone but never found anything close. Next year i think I will start looking for a human figure, religous type, like a monk. I will picture yours in my mind as i wander the rivers in search of one of my own.

I appreciate your sharing and your english is good enough for us to have an understanding. I don't think I even know one word in your language so i think your doing very well indeed.

I think the display on the orange base helps to confirm the thought that this stone represents a monk.

Thanks Hung,
Walking mindfully conscious step. Practitioners (who are on a path to seek liberation), in the Buddha is saying: "disciples of Gotama always aware of himself, regardless of the day or night." (Gotama = Buddha)
That is the meaning of mindful awareness of the Buddha's disciples.

The wooden presentation is quite elaborate. In one way I could see how it might be viewed as detracting from the stone because of it's size.yet in another way it shows the owner's respect for what the stone represents. So much of our viewpoint is because of training or cultural understanding. no matter how this stone is received by the viewers from around the world, I thank-you for sharing it with us.
