Great start Mike. There's a lot of character in the trunk base and its vigour will undoubtedly allow you to develop an excellent sumo shohin Satsuki. Keep up the good work.

I don't usually like the 'sumo' look, but this works well for me. I'm assuming this means satsuki back bud well, even on 'old' wood?
