Welsh Game Fair 2012
It was the annual Welsh Game Fair over the weekend and Dragon turned up to put on a lovely display. Saturday was a little bit wet as there was rain all day however sunday was brighter with sunny spells that brought the crowds. We hope you enjoy the trees and accents on display.

Yes, the Dragons did themselves proud again. Thanks to all the dragons who have shown trees/accents, manned the display and generally supported the show over the two days. Great response from the public who on the whole were very appreciative of our work, only one disapproving voice who was heard to say, 'it's cruel', Oh well, you can't please everyone!

Re: Welsh Game Fair 2012
This year was a change of venue for the society show, we were involved with the same Game fair event and they had relocated to the show ground in Carmarthen after a couple of years of bad weather on the feield location. So we were unsure of what space etc that we were going into, but at least it was undercover and FREE. so came the Friday 15th june and set up day
The set went well, it was just a case of sorting out the trees and accents and scrolls into there positions

Well done Dragon Bonsai I called in on the Sunday very good show and friendly atmosphere
I think about 90% of the trees and accents were welsh yamadori and Dragon members own work
how times change. I think for the better.

Knowing all the trees as well as we do it is hard to think of a personal best for the show, but that being said it was Chris Bray's semi cascade Larch that kind of did it for me. The tree needs more time maybe (but then what tree dos'ent), but the tree pot combination I think is great. The pot is a John Pitt creation
