Pinus mugo transplanting.
Hello ,,,,,,,,,
I would like to ask you about transplanting a pinus mugo (nursery material), I read in several sources that the best time for transplanting this species is mid-summer, consider the extremely hot climate of my country i wonder perhaps transplantation had to be moved a few months ahead, in early autumn;
Thanks in advance
Best regards Lazaros.

I know I am in a very different location then you but I re-pot my mugos here in the late summer. Usually the end of August, it's still warm but the extreme heat waves have passed for the year. I have done three mugos this way over the last few years and all have responded well.
Good Luck

I apologize for this intrusion, but what about lifting one that has been in the ground for several years? Preferred time for this?
Thank you
