I grew this Celtis australus from a seed I planted 29 years ago. I air layered it in 2009 to improve the nebari and taper.
Showed it for the first time today at the Sacramento Bonsai Club show.

I do not know if I would have the guts to air layer it as you did but it sure paid off and it took just a few months too! Shocked
