it looks like to me some kind of cotoneaster but which one???

Really need a little more info. Opposite or alternate leaves? Got a picture of a branch or the plant? Looks like a viburnum but that's not much to go on...

You're just guessing unless you see it in bloom. Also we would need a picture showing the plant habit.

I'd be almost positive it is not Cotoneaster. But we do need to see more.

That has serrated leaves.
