BONSAI EXHIBITION IN MONACO "les jolis matins de juin" 10 11 12 JUNE 2011

hello ibc people!
i come to you in this post to give you this news - this was the second edition of this great bonsai exhibition in the exotic garden of monaco held from friday 10 to sunday 12 june of 2011.

there were several doted prizes (first kawabe price 1000 euros)
workshops with mr takeo kawabe
a good level bonsai suiseki exhibition of course
and a lot of bonsai demonstrations
uli ernst
kodama art studio
progetto futuro
gilles rigal
young talents
and others ...

a great weekend for european an international fellows down there under the good french riviera sun...

ouh yes it was terrific
a good level bonsai exhibition with the mood that we dream of
the demos were very impressive
and the exhibition trees show how the level is starting to be in the good way

i will put other pictures and try to make other people of the exhibition send more pics on this post

there is a lot of pictures and some videos are coming

A very good exhibition, with trees of high quality !
We (in France) have THREE things to do : work, work and ... work again ! What a motivation to see all of these trees !
The workshop was very instructive, with Takeo Kawabe, who is a great man.
The sabina juniper is an amazing tree, and seeing M. Kawabe to turn around, I think this is a future masterpiece !

Hi Cram, what a fantastic Show and Congratulations to Ivo Saporiti on the first prize. I have fond memories of Monaco with the EBA event in 1995... sooo long ago.

And the sunshine is calling me back thanks for posting

it is true that the french level is poor compare to our neighbours....
but it is rising....in a good way i think

and you re also right on one point ....we have to work
even if it is an obligation for any bonsaika...work is the key to make bonsai

Judging by the trees btw you have caught up fast luv the work on the
juniper and the video, fantastic to see lots of people working on trees together with

and the mood of the exhibition was very dynamic and interesting

of course i will send more pics
i am a little bit lazy on the net
because of the bad internet connection in my moutain...sending pics is very long
my only tree exposed

the sunday our bonsai group made two another demos
on two taiwan imported itoygawa junipers...twisted trunks about 6 centimeters of diameter
the two were exactly similar at the start of the demo...two big balls of vegetation
the first one by herve dora who made an instantaned shaping from his drawing

the second one by laurent darrieux who made a first step one a several years project for a surnatural esthetic tree

very impressive demonstrations...

i feasted to see this exhibition . Especially in an environment so beautiful
